    No is a complete sentence. I agree. No should not be followed with an explanation. My mom always said No means No!

    I use to feel guilty/ bad when I said no.Not anymore .Noooooooo is a complete sentence.

    Hey Dr. Nay!
    NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO… I am practicing getting rid of the the say “yes” disease lol. This is something that I really struggle with in both my personal and work life. I love the message here as some times people may feel that they may not have a choice and yes is always expected even when it is presented as an option. But I have to agree that saying no is not a bad thing and it may often be needed for our own self care. I am going to but this into practice more often 🙂

      No, “no” is not a bad thing but an empowering mechanism. As women, we tend to to care for everyone else and worry about their feelings before ourselves. Good for you Kim to begin the curing of your disease because it can actually cause gradually emotional and physical harm.

      Ladies, let’s self-care and think of ourselves as a priority!!
