    Looks like I missed out not having a big brother. Lucky are the women who have brothers as in your poem.

      Hi Susan,

      I am sure that you did not “miss out”. Even though some of us did not have blood-related brothers, others may have had childhood friends, cousins, uncles or even big sisters who played that meaningful role. Never feel that you have “missed out” because we all have different experiences, all worthy of recognition.

  2. Yeah! Love my big brother too. The first time I noticed his special love was when I burnt myself on the stove and he was so upset. “You need to take care he said” sounding like he was hurting for me.
