Scars symbolize that we have lived through something and survived.
I agree Iris! Scars are symbols of our strength and courage!
Scars are a reminder that we’ve survived. They are a reminder to have faith in yourself and god, the universe, a higher power (whatever you believe) because if you survived your past you can take on the next level. I love what you’ve said, beautiful message
Welcome Lydia!
Thanks.
Yes, like the old saying goes “Whatever you survive only makes you stronger.”(Or something like that :)) I agree, that it’s about trusting and believing in yourself to aspire closer toward your dreams.
That was beautiful. Our scars represent adversity and overcoming that builds character. I love the encouragement to embrace these scars and those hardships as it has molded us into the person that stands today. Beautiful, strong, and resilient!
Hi Kimberly,
Yes, those scars have made us the women that we are! So stand tall and proud, as a Sistah, to acknowledge all that you have succeeded and achieved!

Cherish is not a word I would use when referring to my scars, but I must admit your poem has inspired me to look at my scars in a different light. My physical and inner scars are not my flaws I will now wear them proudly!
Thanks,
I agree!!!! Same here sistah!
Hey Karen,
I am glad that you have a more positive perception of your scars! View them as notches on your battle belt, wearing it as the most fierce and victorious conqueror!
